At work we were given special dispensation to wear casual clothes which include "jeans and neat appearance sneakers" a few weeks back and lasting till the end of August. So I made it my goal to go as many days as possible without repeating a pair of shoes. With five days in a work week, I can easily make it 6 weeks - that's only 30 pairs of shoes/boots/sneakers. I mean, who with a proper day job doesn't own that many pairs of foot gear?

Italian leather boots so wonderful they attract a heavenly halo of light. With a navy blue pin-stripe suit, ivory-topped mahogany walking stick, and bowler derby I shall be all set for a night on the town.
